Address privacy concerns (concerning Slack)
AFAIK, the list of accounts on the profile page for the user of my.typo3.org contains applications that are all hosted on TYPO3 servers (talk, gerrit, forge) except for Slack.
When this connection between typo3.org and Slack was suggested on decisions.typo3.org, there were some privacy concerns from users. I don't want to start a new discussion, just suggesting to add some information that might address common concerns.
When you sign up for the TYPO3 Slack workspace, you get a mail from Slack, not TYPO3.
If people are not familiar with Slack in general or in any case, they may want to know what they sign up for before they do this, including but not limited to:
- they register with their email in the TYPO3 Slack workspace. Will they get spammed?
- how is TYPO3 associated with Slack?
- my.typo3.org in general: how is personal information handled? Maybe I missed it, but would maybe expect a link on "About my.typo3.org" to this information. Also, which information on my.typo3.org is transferred to the Slack account?
People can inform themselves of their own accord, but I think it would be user-friendly to have information about Slack (beyond just the basic information) and information about the user data on my.typo3.org available on my.typo3.org.
